Right before the pandemic hit in March of 2020, I took a trip to my hometown of Winnipeg. The city was shutting down around me so I took some time and drove out onto the windswept prairies.
It was bitterly cold and quiet. I came across this barn that was weathered, but beautiful.
There is a solitude in the prairies, especially in the winter.
