There is something other-worldly about much of Iceland’s landscape. Reynisdrangar is no exception. I wasn’t sure if I was visiting another planet or Middle Earth. Regardless, this place captured my imagination.
The formations are the remains of large imposing sea cliffs, made up of basalt. They shoot dramatically out of the ocean under the looming cliffs of Mt. Reynisfjall.
