Looking out over the water towards the sunset, I was overwhelmed with the explosion of colours cast by the setting sun. For this image, the colour was the subject. Not the water, the islands, nor the sun. I wanted to capture colour as the only subject. By moving my camera during exposure, I removed the distracting details and was left with the only subject that mattered...
