This is the second church photographed in the Winter Church Series.
This church is located at the bottom of a ravine so there is a winding road down on approach. The red roof is the first thing you notice in an otherwise bleak winterscape.
This was the only church in the series that was open. It was unattended but unlocked. The inside was warm and welcoming in contrast to its surroundings. Dark wooden beams across the ceiling overlooked the matching pews and altar. A ladder led up to the bell in that eye-catching red steeple.
