Spomenik

In 2017 I had the privileged opportunity to travel through the countryside of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia to shoot Spomeniks. The following year I returned to Bulgaria with another very talented photographer to seek out and shoot more. In short, Spomeniks are monuments, often built in remote places, to commemorate different events. Some, which may represent an event no longer in favour of the current environment, have become derelict and abandoned.
